The America 250 Mural Dedication Unveiling is next Friday! 🎨⭐

Join us Friday, September 4, at 5:00 PM on the front lawn of the East Pennsboro Township Municipal Building for the dedication and unveiling of the brand-new East Pennsboro Township Mural!

Researched, designed, and hand-painted by Girl Scout Troop 11419, this beautiful mural celebrates the rich history of East Pennsboro Township and the people, places, and events that have shaped our community over the years.

Come celebrate this incredible accomplishment and see the mural unveiled for the first time! We hope to see you there!

Please be advised of upcoming stormwater pipe lining construction that will impact the following areas:

East Penn Drive: Monday, August 31, Wednesday, September 2, and Thursday, September 3, 2026, stormwater pipe lining construction will take place, with flagging operations in the area.

Salt Road: Monday, August 31, 2026, stormwater pipe lining construction will require a flagger to direct traffic.

Please use caution and patience while traveling through these areas. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as this work is completed.

Starting Monday, August 24, 2026, Acri Road and Acri Meadow Drive will be closed for approximately four weeks for storm pipe removal and replacement, as well as preparation for paving.

Please see the attached map showing the highlighted detour route. The detour will route through Hampden Township during construction.

Cold in Place Recycling work will begin on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Crews will be working from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

During construction, residents are asked to remove all vehicles from the street on the dates listed below. Please park vehicles in your driveway or on an adjacent street to help crews complete the work safely and efficiently.

The following streets are scheduled for Cold in Place Recycling on the dates listed below:
Wednesday, August 19 through Friday, August 21 - Sharon Road
Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25 - Randi Road
Wednesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 27 - Kelly Court
Friday, August 28 through Tuesday, September 1 - Annette Drive
Wednesday, September 2 through Friday, September 4 - Susan Circle

These are the tentative dates and may change due to weather or change in construction schedule. This is not the completed process; another 1 1/2 to 2 inches of hot mix asphalt will be places on the recycled base course within a few weeks.

Starting Monday, August 17 through Friday, August 21, 2026, stormwater drainage improvements will continue on Salt Road and East Penn Drive.

Beginning August 20 through August 21, 2026, Cold in Place Recycling will take place on Annette Drive, Sharon Road, Wexford Drive, Edenderry Way, Susan Circle, and Randy Road.

During construction, no street parking will be permitted on the street being worked on between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day. Traffic will be accommodated throughout the project, but motorists should expect minor delays and plan accordingly.

Cold in Place Recycling will continue into the following week, from August 24 through August 28, 2026.
