Enosburg Elementary School

Enosburg Elementary School Title l rural elementary school serving students in early childhood education through grade 5 Miss Kathleen M. Kehoe was assigned principal and Mrs. Dorothy H.

In 1820, the first Enosburg school in the village was a log building. The location is not certain.

1955-1956, the present school, was opened, with an enrollment of 249 students grades 1-6. Preston, assistant principal.

2011-2012- We begin this new school year with principal Mrs. Michelle Lussier and assistant principal, Mrs. Jennifer Carpenter. Enrollment is 246 students, grades PK-5.

Our Homeschoolers & Friends STREAM starts back up this month, we are starting a brand new book club for the TWEENS, and a new adult book club called Strange Worlds & Dark Corners (which is Fantasy, Mystery, and Sci-Fi themed. The new storywalk story is up and thank you to our sponsors Champlain Chevrolet and Robtoy Property Care! Come to the BRT Storywalk trail to read the 2027 Red Clover nominee book, In the Desert by David Elliot. Each page spotlights a desert animal with a short poem and detailed illustrations. Did you know that some people think a one horned desert antelope called a oryx is where the myth of the unicorn originated? Don't miss the last page for fun facts like these about each animal! This story will be up until 9/14 but check out the EES playground fence for past stories!
