Senator Todd Nash

Senator Todd Nash Cattle rancher, husband, father, grandfather, Oregon State Senator District 29. Todd Nash knows the rural Oregon way.

Having lived in Enterprise since he was five years old, he has deep roots in Senate District 29 and is deeply invested in our culture, community, and our unique way of life. Todd has worked in the timber industry, farming, and ranching in Wallowa County all his life, and his experience with natural resources comes first-hand. It has driven his passion for advocacy at every level from county, regio

nal, state, and federal, to ensure our government does not get in the way of families and natural resource leaders from earning their living, their way. Todd currently serves as a Wallowa County Commissioner and as the President of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association. In addition, he has been active with the Association of Oregon Counties as Co-Chair of the Natural Resource Committee and on the Public Lands Committee at National Association of Counties. He is also the immediate past Co-Chair of the Wallowa County 4/H FFA Fair livestock Sale where he served for 15 years. His work in the community has been acknowledged often. He has been the recipient of the Wallowa County Chamber of Commerce Award for Entrepreneur of The Year Award, Wallowa County Cattlemen of the Year Award and Honorary Cattlemen of The Year, the American Forest Resource Council’s Tillicum Award and many other state and local awards. Todd has been very active with the state legislature going back to 2010 helping to shape many state policies within farming, timber, ranching and natural resource issues. He has also worked with Oregon Department of Agriculture and is currently a State W**d Board Member. When they aren’t working on their ranch or helping friends with livestock, Todd and his wife Angie of 33 years, enjoy spending time with their four adult kids and six young grandkids, all of whom live in Wallowa County, going fishing, hunting, riding horses, or just hanging out by the campfire together.

Farming, ranching, forestry, and fishing come with long hours, financial pressure, isolation, and stresses most people never see. Recent reporting showed su***de rates among Oregon’s farming, fishing, and forestry workers are far higher than the state average.

Congratulations to all of the candidates who were successful in the recent primary election. Running for office takes dedication, hard work, and a commitment to public service, and everyone who stepped forward deserves thanks for their willingness to serve.

I also want to thank every voter who took the time to participate in our democratic process. Your voice matters, and your engagement helps shape the future of our communities and our state.

I look forward to working with elected leaders, candidates, and community members alike as we continue addressing the issues important to Oregonians. To those advancing to the general election, I wish you the very best of luck in the months ahead.

We have big races coming up and if we want real change we all need to show up and vote in November. Until then, let’s all take a quick break from campaigning and enjoy a good steak 🥩!

I’m proud to endorse and support Rawley Bigsby for Wallowa County Commissioner. Rawley brings real-world experience, steady leadership, and a deep understanding of the issues that matter to our rural communities — from protecting our natural resource economy to ensuring responsible county government. Wallowa County needs leaders who will show up, listen, and get to work. Rawley is that kind of leader.

I encourage you to join us at Rawley’s campaign kickoff tomorrow to meet him, hear his vision for the county, and get involved. I hope to see you there.
