🔥🌲 Did You Know?

The 1970 Entiat Fire remains the largest wildfire ever recorded in Chelan County, burning more than 175,000 acres and consuming over 80% of the entire Entiat Valley.

This historic fire reshaped the landscape for decades and stands as one of the most significant wildfires in Washington’s history, though not the largest statewide.

Today, we also want to recognize and thank the firefighters — past and present — who have protected our valley. From the Hotshot crews of 1970 and to the dedicated teams who respond to fires in our region every year, your courage and commitment continue to safeguard our community.

The Entiat School students made the library a little brighter last week!
They planted beautiful flowers and added a young alpine fir tree — a new addition that will grow alongside our community.
