The City of Enumclaw Police Department is looking for Lateral and Experienced Level Officers with BLEA Certification. The current recruitment will run from April 20, 2026 through May 31, 2026 with oral boards tentatively scheduled for early June.
2026 Salary range: $7,540.26 - $9,623.00/month

The City of Enumclaw is located in Western Washington in South King County. Enumclaw is roughly 1 hour from Seattle, Crystal Mountain and Mt. Rainier. The city boundary spans 5 square miles and is surrounded by farmland and the Cascade Foothills.
The Enumclaw Police Department provides 24-hour law enforcement support to the City of Enumclaw. The Police Department currently has 36 employees covering the Patrol, Investigations, Communications and Corrections divisions. Our mission is to provide quality, professional, effective, and proactive law enforcement in partnership with the community to ensure a safe and secure environment in which to live, work and visit.
The City of Enumclaw continuously accepts applications for Lateral and Experienced Level Police Officers. At this time, we are establishing a continuous eligibility list. Successful candidates must hold a current peace officer certification and have been employed as a Police Officer within the past two years. Those applicants whose qualifications most closely correspond to the department’s current needs will be contacted via email (or phone if no email) to participate in the oral board process when scheduled. The city sends no formal notification to applicants who are not selected to continue in our process.
