Good morning, families! ❤️

We are pleased to announce that drop-off sites will be available at each school building to collect school supply donations for neighboring school districts recently impacted by fires.

All donated items will be collected and distributed to families in the Nespelem and Wahluke School Districts as they navigate fire recovery, displacement, and cleanup.

Drop-Off Details:

When: Monday & Tuesday during Orientations (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Where: Any Ephrata School District school building

If you are willing and able to contribute, any donation is greatly appreciated!

Reminder: Please make sure to schedule your student’s orientation in Skyward if you haven’t already done so.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU

The Ephrata School District is considering asking voters to consider another bond this coming February. Since this past February, we've been listening, and we want to keep listening as we prepare for the next potential bond.

That's why we're inviting you to join us for our upcoming Bond Community Facility Study Meetings:

September 9th & 23rd
October 7th & 21st

All meetings will be held in the Ephrata Middle School Library from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

Better together and full of hope for a bright new school year! 🧡🖤

Our entire K-12 TIGER "staff-ulty" kicked off the year together with breakfast, connection, and powerful words from Superintendent Ken Murray and AWSP’s Scott Friedman.

Superintendent Murray reminded us of the power of unity and our shared mission:

"What a great day to be a TIGER! Today was all about coming TOGETHER... Not one of us doing it all alone, but all of us trusting what the person next to us brings to the table. We are building a bridge between our KIDS and their LEARNING... Here's to a year of coming TOGETHER, keeping TOGETHER, working TOGETHER, and raising HOPE 'Numbers' TOGETHER."

Scott Friedman challenged us to be "dealers of HOPE" and foster a deep sense of belonging, reminding us that every single staff member (from our bus drivers and front office teams to our custodians and teachers) plays a vital role in helping our kids see a bright future for themselves.

In every hallway, classroom, and conversation this year, what we do matters. We are ready to build that bridge together for our kids! 🐅✨

•Leisha Adams was appointed as District 4 School Board Director

The Ephrata School District encourages local families to participate in an upcoming instrument drive supporting families impacted by recent fires.

Gently used, playable musical instruments can be dropped off at:

📍 Location: Frontier Middle School (Moses Lake)

📅 Date: Sunday, August 23rd

⏰ Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Every donated instrument goes directly to a student or family in need to help keep the music playing in the community. Consider stopping by to support young local musicians! 🧡🖤
