Mr. Goss spearheaded the Ephrata Middle School band's participation in the Music in the Parks festival in 1999, and today marked his final appearance leading the band to the event. The band has consistently achieved Excellent and Superior ratings under Mr. Goss's guidance, highlighting their dedication and perseverance. While securing second place with an Excellent rating was a notable accomplishment, the band's receipt of the esteemed Esprit de Corps award for their remarkable display of respect, professionalism, problem-solving skills, and teamwork was especially meritorious.

This Sunday, May 3, the Ephrata high school and middle school bands will come together in concert at 2 PM at the Ephrata high school auditorium, marking a momentous occasion as Mr. Goss leads his final performance as Director of Bands in the Ephrata School District. The concert will feature an inspiring repertoire by renowned composers Chris Huss, Jared Hall, Randall D Standridge, Clifton Williams, Rossano Galante, Samuel R. Hazo, and Steven Bryant.
