That’s a wrap on another incredible school year at Clay!

As the final bell rings and summer officially begins, I want to wish all of our students, staff, parents, and families a wonderful and well deserved break.

Thank you for making this year so special. It has been filled with learning, growth, laughter, friendships, and countless memories that will stay with us long after the school year ends.

I hope everyone takes time this summer to relax, make memories with family and friends, sleep in a little, stay up a little later, enjoy lazy days on the couch, and simple joys that summer break is meant for.

Have a safe, happy, and fun-filled summer. We can’t wait to see your smiling faces when the new school year begins!

Yesterday was a special day as we celebrated our 4th Grade Farewell and honored our amazing students and teachers. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on all they have accomplished and the memories they have made throughout their time at Clay.

Our 4th graders spent the afternoon enjoying a variety of fun activities, including making their own lemonade, enjoying snacks, playing games, and competing in a kickball tournament with their friends. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of an unforgettable chapter before they move on to their next adventure.

It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is the day!

Tomorrow morning, we will gather to celebrate our amazing 4th graders at their 4th Grade Farewell Ceremony as they prepare to take the next big step to intermediate school. We can’t wait to recognize each and every student, celebrate their accomplishments, honor their teachers, and reflect on the memories and friendships they have made along the way.

To our 4th graders: we are so proud of you and all that you have achieved!

Parents, please make sure your students get a good night’s sleep tonight because we have a fun-filled day of celebrating ahead. We can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces tomorrow!

Last restock of the school year for the faculty room! 🥤

We changed things up a bit this time and, instead of snacks, stocked up on a variety of drinks to help keep our amazing teachers and staff fueled as we head into the final stretch of the school year. We hope this little “pick me up” helps power everyone through these busy last weeks! 💜💛

We also want to take a moment to give a huge THANK YOU to Nicole Ortiz for taking the lead on staff restocks this school year. Nicole has done an incredible job and brought so much thoughtfulness and creativity to every restock. Her ideas, time, and care have helped make our teachers and staff feel appreciated all year long, and we are so grateful for everything she has done. Thank you, Nicole, for helping make this school year extra special!

Hey, Clay families! As we wrap up the school year, our Lost and Found has officially become the hottest collection of hoodies, jackets, gloves, and a variety of other mystery items.

If any of these belongings look familiar, please stop by the lobby to claim them or remind your student to grab their long lost treasures before summer break begins. Anything left behind may be forced to spend the summer wondering where it all went wrong 🙃

Last night was our annual Mother/Son Night! 💙

Thankfully, the rain held out and we were able to enjoy a fun filled evening together with so many wonderful families!

There were so many activities throughout the night, but kickball and tug-of-war definitely seemed to be the highlights!

A big THANK YOU to Katie Wildes and Liz Ackerman for always putting together such a memorable and entertaining evening!

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening making great memories and enjoying time together. We truly appreciate all of the support that helps make these Clay events like this so special
