The Ephrata Police Department is requesting help with identifying the below individual in reference to the theft of an electric bicycle that occurred on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at approximately 7:27 p.m. during the Ephrata Parade. If you have any information regarding the theft or are able to identify the indivdiual, please contact Sgt Chad Allen at (717) 738-9200 ext. 235.

Public Assistance Request
Between Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, a vehicle was reported stolen from the 200 block of Linda Terrace in Ephrata Borough. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the key fob inside and has since been recovered.

During the same timeframe, multiple vehicles in the 100 and 200 blocks of Linda Terrace and the 100 block of Irene Avenue were entered and rummaged through. All of the vehicles were reportedly left unlocked.

The Ephrata Police Department reminds residents to always lock their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables or other items of interest inside.

We are asking residents in the areas of Linda Terrace, Irene Avenue, Marion Terrace, Heather Lane, and Lincoln Avenue to review home surveillance or security camera footage from the night of Saturday, October 3, through Sunday, October 4. Please report any suspicious individuals or activity that may be relevant to this investigation.

Anyone with potentially relevant video footage is asked to contact Det. Sgt. Kertsman at (717) 738-9200, ext. 242, or send a private message to the Ephrata Police Department page.

Arrest Warrant

On October 5, 2026, the Ephrata Police Department's Investigation Division filed charges against 47-year-old Marvin Doug Green of Mount Joy for two felony counts of theft by unlawful taking.
