Tuesday afternoon brings back-to-back vehicle accidents. Martindale Fire was dispatched for a vehicle accident along Division Hwy with a vehicle into a building. Once on scene Car 3 requested Rescue 39 to assist with removing vehicle from the building and to put temporary shoring up. As crews were getting ready to clear, Garden Spot Fire Rescue (GSFR39) & New Holland Ambulance were alerted for a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. Due to the close proximity of the call Martindale Fire units responded to assist.

Busy evening for the Volunteers,
Early in the evening Tanker 3 with a crew of 5 attended National Night Out at the New Holland Park. Meanwhile the remaining personal were attending a landing zone class presented by Life Lion. Tanker 3 returned in time to watch the helicopter land.

Congratulations to three of our members on successfully completing the New Holland EMT Program and graduating this evening.

Since beginning the program in January, these three members have dedicated countless hours to classroom instruction, practical skills training, studying, and testing. Their hard work and perseverance have paid off as they reached this significant milestone in their EMS careers.

We are especially proud to recognize Firefighter Jeremy, who was named Class Valedictorian and received the Academic Excellence Award for his outstanding achievement throughout the program.

This evening, 15 members of our fire company traveled to New Holland to celebrate alongside the graduates and their families as they marked the completion of this challenging and rewarding journey.

Please join us in congratulating Carl, Nevin, and Jeremy on this tremendous personal accomplishment. We are proud of their dedication, hard work, and commitment to continuing their education and serving others.

Busy Week For The Volunteers!

Members organized numerous events and responded to the following calls for service - Auto aid for 2 reported building fires, 1 working skid steer fire, 1 trash fire out of control.

Members provided coverage for Walnuttown Fire and Rescue on Tuesday during the day, conducted the monthly business meeting in the evening and then set up for the community auction. Wednesday morning members demonstrated a fire safety presentation for a local homeschool group with the assistance from Garden Spot Fire Rescue (GSFR39). Wednesday evening the first donation auction was held, the second one is Wednesday April 15th, in the evening.

-Engine Company Training with Bowmansville Fire Company station 33 -

Last evening, members from Martindale and Bowmansville came together for an evening of Engine Company drills at an acquired structure. Crews from both agencies focused on stretching and advancing handlines, pump operations, and coordinated fireground operations.

Training side by side like this strengthens our ability to work together efficiently when it matters most. We appreciate the opportunity to train with our neighboring departments and continue building those relationships.
