Wayne County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 915 AM EST.

* At 829 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Mayfield, or
near Carbondale, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Rockland, Dunmore, Fallsburg, Carbondale, Archbald, Monticello,
Blakely, Dickson City, Olyphant, and Jessup.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Eyes to the sky once again today followers! A majority of PA is under a level 2 of 5 risk for excessive rainfall. Mainly where today's storms will hit accompanied with downpours. Stay safe and have your ways to receive alerts!

Very warm and humid conditions are expected today. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening. A few storms could produce heavy downpours.
