Erie County is looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional to join our Human Resources team! If you enjoy working with data, improving systems, and supporting HR operations, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do:
• Serve as the primary administrator for our HR Information Systems (HRIS)
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data through audits and reporting
• Support HR staff and departments with system questions and troubleshooting
• Develop reports and analyze workforce data (staffing, turnover, compliance, etc.)
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and technology
• Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to enhance system performance
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with HR systems, data reporting, or workforce analytics
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma + 2 years of HR experience
OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Public Administration, or related field
Preferred:
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
• Experience in HRIS administration or data analysis
