Today, a few of our Kindergarten through 4th grade students participated in a fun-filled Arts & Crafts Day! They painted their own flower pots and planted flowers to take home. Students also enjoyed Bugs & Butterflies fruit snacks and had some time for a mini recess.

To wrap up our time together, they created beautiful flower bookmarks and showed off their creativity by making colorful pinwheels. Everyone had a wonderful time! 🌸🎨

Last week, 45 7th & 8th grade students from Erie and Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico, along with 6 adults, attended the Washington, D.C. trip! It was a busy, educational and fun trip that exposed kids to a ton of historic sites, museums and experiences that they will never forget.
We can’t thank the communities enough for helping kids go on this trip, by supporting them in various fundraisers, and parents for trusting us with your kids for the week!

The following are some of the highlights of the 5 day trip to D.C. and Philadelphia:

-Holocaust Museum
-Washington Monument (where we got as close as possible seeing the White House currently)
-Enjoyed Ice Cream in Old Town Alexandria

Day 3
-U.S. Capitol Tour
-Library of Congress
-Mount Vernon (Washington’s home/tomb)
