Each year the Erie County 911 Center receives over 40,000 EMS calls and 25% of those calls are for situations which do not require emergency response. When calls come through which are not truly emergencies it can delay the time it takes to respond to life-threatening events.

Please consider other options such as calling your physician or visiting an urgent care center if you are able to wait for medical treatment, this ensures those who truly need emergency transportation and services are able to receive these vital services quickly and efficiently.

The Pennsylvania Broadband Authority is actively working to enhance broadband connectivity throughout the state. To ensure that Erie County receives its fair share of the $1.1 Billion allocated for expanding broadband in PA, it is critical that the PBDA receives as much feedback as possible from the residents and stakeholders of Erie County.
