Pride of PA Army ROTC This is the official ​account for The Pride of PA Senior Army ROTC Battalion, based in Erie, PA This is a violation of privacy. Army or Department of Defense.

Doing hard things when no one is watching. 💪🏃‍♂️

While PT may only be three days a week, Cadet Derek Bly continues to push beyond the standard. This past weekend, he completed the Oil Creek 100, covering an incredible 62 miles with 11,062 feet of elevation gain in 17:04:59.

Success isn't built on minimum requirements. It's built through discipline, determination, and the willingness to embrace challenges that most would never attempt. Derek's accomplishment is a testament to the mindset of striving for excellence, pushing limits, and leading by example.

We're proud to see cadets taking ownership of their development and proving that growth forms outside the comfort zone.

Congratulations to Cadet Bly, the first overall finisher at 1:00:43, and Cadet Harris, the first female finisher at 1:18:47. Early mornings, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. Before the rest of the battalion starts its day, Ranger Challenge is already putting in the work. 💪
Early mornings, relentless training, and a commitment to getting better every day. This week, cadets sharpened their skills on the HGAC (Hand Gr***de Assault Course), pushing themselves one throw at a time as they prepare for competition. Their goal is simple: work harder than everyone else and bring home a win. Success isn't given. It's earned in the early mornings, long practices, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Building Something Better, together. 💙
This past Saturday, Behrend Company cadets rolled up their sleeves and got to work transforming the cadet lounge. From clearing out furniture and thoroughly cleaning the space to planning a new layout, these cadets took the first steps toward creating a welcoming environment for current and future members of the company.

The remodel is far from finished, but this is a great start. We’re proud of the teamwork, initiative, and pride these cadets showed in improving a space they can call their own. Stay tuned as the transformation continues!
