Tower Climbs are first come, first served. Guests must be 44” to climb. Babies, toddlers, pets, and large bags may not be carried up tower stairs.

(9/4 Update) ATTENTION: Presque Isle State Park will continue to be closed today, September 4, with anticipated closure through Sunday, September 6, 2026.

In addition to pedestrian access, the park closure includes access by vehicle, bicycle, boat beaching, and mooring.

Following severe storms earlier this week, the entire park is without power, and park maintenance crews continue cleanup efforts to remove a large number of downed trees while preparing areas for power pole and line repairs.

The Tom Ridge Environmental Center and Erie Bluff’s State Park remain open to visitors for the holiday weekend.

Park staff are monitoring the situation, and updates can be found on the DCNR website, here on the park’s page, or by calling the Presque Isle State Park Office at 814-833-7424.

Although we are closed today, we encourage you to "be the light" and help your neighbors. Our city, and many of our fellow local nonprofits and businesses, woke up to a rough morning. Take this upcoming Labor Day weekend to support them by "being the light".

Come paint the Presque Isle Lighthouse, but with an Autumnal flair. Step by step instruction and all supplies included to create your very own masterpiece.
