❌There is NO PUBLIC ACCESS to the facility during this closure.
📱Online registration will remain open 24/7, and staff will be available to direct calls from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Aug. 31–Sept. 4.

Looking for a place to stay active during the closure? ECC members can visit these partner recreation centers by presenting their ECC membership at the front desk:

REMINDER: The ECC is CLOSED Monday, Aug. 31–Monday, Sept. 7, for annual maintenance. There is NO PUBLIC ACCESS to the facility during this closure.

Looking for a meaningful way to earn volunteer hours while building leadership skills, meeting new people and making a difference in Erie? Join Erie Youth for Change (EYC)!

EYC is a youth advocacy committee for students in grades 9-12 that connects young people with Town leaders and local organizations. Members have the opportunity to:

💡 Share ideas and feedback with Town leaders
🤝 Collaborate on projects that benefit Erie youth
🗣️ Speak up about issues that matter to you
🌎 Help make Erie more inclusive and welcoming
⭐ Build leadership skills, friendships, and earn volunteer hours

As an EYC member, you'll help be the voice of Erie’s youth and have the opportunity to share your ideas with Town Council.

Hey, Erie! Fall youth sports are in full swing, and we’d like to remind everyone to pack their patience if you live near or are headed to any of the following neighborhood parks over the next several weekends: Arapahoe Ridge Park, Erie Community Park, Clayton Park, Lehigh Park, Longs Peak Park, and Star Meadows Park - all of which will be hosting youth soccer or flag football. Additionally, we’ll have volleyball inside the ECC and plenty of regular recreation users. 🏈⚽️🍂

These areas will be extra busy on Saturdays, with hundreds of families attending youth sports programs and enjoying the fall weather. Plan ahead, bike or walk if possible, and be mindful of extra kiddos in the area. Parents, please keep a close eye on children when walking among vehicles. Everyone’s safety is our priority!

If you live in the area of any of these parks please also be mindful of the increased traffic. If you notice any illegal parking, speeding, or other traffic violations please report it to the Town of Erie Police Department at 303-441-4444. Officers are here to help. 🚓

Concerned about weather and game cancellations? Our weather hotline (303-926-2550 - Option 4) and Quickscores website are updated whenever there is a weather-related cancelation or delay. Check these resources BEFORE heading to the field on those cold, drizzly mornings. 🌦❌🌨

💦 Splash Pad Closure Today

The Coal Creek Park splash pad will be temporarily closed today from approximately 10 a.m.–noon while crews wrap up installation of the Perry Weather lighting detection and water shutoff system.

This important safety upgrade will help automatically shut off the water for 20 minutes when lightning is detected nearby.

Thanks for your patience while we finish this work! We’ll reopen the splash pad as soon as the installation is complete.
