The Erie County Conservation District (ECCD)
is an educational leader in addressing environmental concerns. We provide assistance to Erie County citizens for wise use, agricultural management, and development of our natural resources by addressing conservation issues through environmental education and outreach.

Throughout the week of day camp, participants will enjoy visits from the Game Commission, Purple Martin Association and Service Forester, plus games, crafts, and, of course, spending lots of time exploring the Park and creek!

What a beautiful spring day for our 2026 Middle School Envirothon event! Over 70 students participated, challenging their knowledge in Forestry, Wildlife, Aquatics, Soils/Land Use, and presenting on a current topic, Hidden Creeks. While they were challenging what they have already learned, students had an opportunity to talk with environmental experts in their field, learning more about careers in various environmental science areas.

Congratulation to St. Gregory School's 1st and 2nd place teams, and Wattsburg Area Middle School for earning 3rd place overall!
