End of Watch — Officer Christopher DeLong Jr.

He was 29. Two years on the job. A husband. A father of two little ones.
He answered a domestic call. That’s the call a lot of people treat like routine. It isn’t. He ran toward it anyway.
Tonight his wife is living the nightmare every police family prays never comes.
His kids will grow up with a badge instead of a dad at the table. His partners at Columbia PD are sitting in a briefing room that will never feel the same.
Rest easy, Officer DeLong.
