Report of a boat on fire with people on the water in the Danville area of the river. Immediate assistance was requested from TWRA, US Coast Guard, Benton County, Stewart County Fire Rescue, THP for a helicopter, TEMA for a drone. We deployed both of our boats, one to find the boat and the other to begin searching for boat debris and victims. Once the "boat" was found, it was determined it was an old building that was built as a floating store years ago. Someone lit it on fire and it ended up in the main channel of the river. Several boat crews and THP Air searched the area and determined there was nobody in the water. The dock was a total loss.
