The Erlanger Police Department is asking for your help in protecting our community.
Over the past several weeks, Northern Kentucky has experienced a noticeable increase in vehicle break-ins, vehicle thefts, and damage to parked vehicles. Unfortunately, Erlanger has also seen several of these incidents.
You can help reduce your risk by taking a few simple precautions:
• Remove all valuables from your vehicle.
• Always lock your vehicle, even if it's parked in your driveway.
• Please do not leave fi****ms inside your vehicle. If you must transport a firearm, secure it properly and remove it from your vehicle whenever possible.
• If you notice suspicious activity in your neighborhood, report it immediately by contacting the Kenton County Dispatch Center at (859) 356-3191. If you witness a crime in progress or an emergency, always call 911.
Our officers have increased targeted patrols and are actively investigating these incidents. Community members serve as our extra eyes and ears, and your timely reports greatly improve our ability to deter crime, identify suspects, and solve cases.
