Help us celebrate September Su***de Prevention Month by learning how to save a life! We are offering a FREE QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training on September 28th from 5:30 to 6:30.

This training teaches participants how to:

• Recognize the warning signs of su***de
• Ask someone directly if they are struggling
• Offer hope and support in a safe, caring way
• Connect individuals to professional help and resources

QPR empowers everyday people—teachers, staff, families, and community members—to respond confidently in a crisis.

This amazing group of people spent the day together collaborating on ways to reduce barriers and support students with behavioral and social emotional needs. Pathways Community Mental Health, Hiawatha Behavioral Health, and Delta Schoolcraft ISD sent their teams in person and virtually to build relationships between the agencies and to understand more about the processes that guide services - all to connect students with what they need. Our communities are so lucky to have these dedicated professionals!

Delta-Schoolcraft Intermediate School District (DSISD) and The Community Foundation for Delta County (CFFDC) are proud to co-sponsor the 2026 High School Career Fairs.
These events provide juniors and seniors across Delta and Schoolcraft Counties the opportunity to explore diverse career paths and learn about the training or education required to succeed in the workforce. Unlike a traditional job fair, our goal is career exploration and student engagement.

The Delta Schoolcraft ISD is proud to have Escanaba Department of Public Safety Officer Dustin Stempki serve as its SRO. Welcome back to school, SRO Stempki!

SRO Stempki had his first day back at school and is excited for another great school year! We wish all students, teachers, and staff a safe and successful year!
