I am deeply honored to accept the endorsement of M-PACE Social Workers of Michigan.
Social workers are on the front lines of some of the most important challenges facing our communities. Every day, they stand beside children and families, survivors of violence, people struggling with mental health and substance use, older adults, and people who too often have nowhere else to turn.
In the Upper Peninsula, we know how difficult it can be to access mental health and social services. Rural communities deserve the same opportunity for care, dignity, and support as communities anywhere in Michigan.
As your next State Senator, I will fight for policies that strengthen our behavioral health system, support and retain social workers, expand access to mental health services, and make sure the people doing this essential work have the resources and respect they deserve.
This endorsement is more than an honor—it is a reminder of the responsibility we have to build a Michigan where no one is left behind and every person has a chance to thrive.
