DAY FIVE 🙏

A day without recreation, but a lot of rest, relaxation, and restoration! 👍

We had a great time watching our counselors duke it out at the GAUNTLET and an extended time of worship after hearing an incredible word on honest prayer and confession from Psalm 3.

We have had AN INCREDIBLE time this week witnessing the Lord do a work in this generation! Continue praying for a final night tonight and a safe trip tomorrow!

DAY FOUR 💯

Wednesdays are for KAJABI!!

We gave our all out there and saw our SENIOR GIRLS win it all in the ladies bracket!! We likewise enjoyed some great seminars ranging from apologetics to missions and other lifestyle challenges and issues that gave us real practical biblical insights and practices. Like always, we heard a great message on worship from Chris Hilken about Psalm 42 🙌

We are stoked and excited for the final two days of camp — but are amazed to see it fly by! Continue praying for great conversation and breakthrough this week!

DAY THREE 🌲

Thank you Lord for the memorable and meaningful moments from Tuesday! We have encountered a God who is breaking down the walls in our hearts and in our community.

We heard firsthand from 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

After a powerful time of mutual confession, we dove into a night celebrating our incoming Seniors and enjoying a night of hanging out and praying over this week, this Summer, and this year!

DAY TWO⚡️

We had a great time with the Lead Counselors in the morning, along with a powerful time of private reflection and prayer in God’s Words! 🔥

We also competed our hearts out at Recreation Chapel — and enjoyed watching some of our Counselors compete against Hume Staff in a wiffle ball game.

The day was also full with one-on-ones, prayer, encouragement, adventure, and overall gratitude for the mountains!

We ended the day with another chapel session of worship and another great Word from Chris Hilken around Psalm 51! 📖

At least one of our students has already accepted the Gospel for the first time last night! The sense that is shared among our team is that God is doing something exceptional this year. Continue praying for Him to do immeasurably more than all that we ask or imagine!

HUME DAY ONE ⛰️

We enjoyed our first afternoon and evening here in Sequioa National Park by moving in to our cabins, getting to know our fellow campers and counselors, worshipping the LORD together, and hearing from God’s Word — specifically Psalm 103:1-5! 🔥

We are encouraged by the way that everyone has been receptive and reflective about the opening teaching and overall theme of the week. Many of our conversations have already been honest and open about life and the LORD.

Would you pray for our campers as we start DAY TWO this morning and dive into God’s Word?
