🔥 SOLD OUT! 600 CHICKEN DINNERS LATER, THAT’S A WRAP! 🔥

And just like that, our Annual Chicken BBQ is in the books for another year. ❤️

It’s always a little bittersweet when we sell that last dinner because, somehow, it feels like it means summer is officially winding down. But what a way to end it.

THANK YOU to every single person who came out today, bought a dinner, stopped to say hello, shared our posts, or sent someone our way. We say it all the time, but we truly have the very best community.

Thank you to our incredible local businesses who not only supply us and support what we do, but also encourage their customers to come out and support us. That kind of community looking out for community means more than you know.

And then there’s our crew. ❤️

What people see is one Saturday of chicken, sides, desserts, laughs and a whole lot of familiar faces coming through the line.

What they don’t always see are the hours these men and women give the other 364 days of the year. The dinners they miss. The plans they change. The middle-of-the-night alarms. The “drop everything and go” moments. The birthdays, holidays and family time interrupted because someone else is having their worst day.

And still, on one of the last big weekends of summer, they give up another Saturday to work together and raise money for this department.

Because that’s what family does.

But don’t let them kid you too much… they LOVE seeing all of you come through that line when nobody’s house is on fire, nobody needs rescued, and the only emergency is whether we’re going to run out of chicken.

Today was a reminder of why we’re so proud to call this place home. Neighbors supporting neighbors. Local businesses supporting local organizations. Friends catching up. Kids growing up right before our eyes.

We couldn’t do what we do without you — and we wouldn’t want to do it anywhere else.

From our 17 House family to all of you, thank you for another incredible Chicken BBQ and for supporting us all year long.

We really do have the very best community. ❤️

🚨 WE STILL HAVE DINNERS LEFT! 🚨

Just look at all these cute, smiling faces waiting to serve you! 😁❤️ They really do love seeing everyone… BUT some of these young people have Saturday night plans, so we need you to come buy the rest of this chicken and set them free. 😂

Now, the older crew? Don’t worry about them. They could sit around the station, drink coffee, tell stories, and gab until midnight. 🤣

And look who even showed up to support us — Conneaut Lake PD! 🚓💙 Apparently the smell of Station 17 chicken is powerful enough to bring in law enforcement. 😂 In all seriousness, we sure appreciate them stopping by and supporting us. That’s what small-town community is all about — showing up for each other. ❤️

🚨 MULTI-AGENCY RESPONSE | PYMATUNING STATE PARK 🚨

North Shenango Fire Department responded to Pymatuning State Park for a reported trauma incident involving an individual who had fallen from a bicycle.

The first North Shenango Fire Department unit arrived on scene just 2 minutes after dispatch, with DCNR Park Rangers arriving shortly afterward. After assessing the patient and determining the extent of the injuries, STAT MedEvac was requested to respond to the helipad at North Shenango Fire Department.

EmergyCare Ambulance arrived on scene and the patient was quickly loaded for transport to the landing zone at NSFD. Upon arrival, care was transferred to the STAT MedEvac flight crew, and the patient was flown to UPMC Hamot for further treatment.

Agencies working together during the incident included:

🌲 DCNR Park Rangers
🚓 Conneaut Lake Regional Police Department
🚑 EmergyCare Ambulance
🚁 STAT MedEvac

This incident is a great example of multiple agencies coming together, each doing their part toward one common goal — protecting and serving our community and providing the best possible care to those in need.

The members of “17 House” extend our thoughts and prayers to the patient and wish them a full and speedy recovery.
