NO NEED FOR CONCERN, TRAINING IN PROGRESS! There will be several K9 officers and their partners conducting training near area of the carnival rides and G gate at the Champlain Valley Fair this afternoon. There is no emergency.... But there may be lots of fur.

Today's the day! Expect increased traffic in the area—especially near main roads, exits, and around the fairgrounds.
If you’re heading out, give yourself extra time, stay patient, and keep an eye out for pedestrians and fairgoers. All lost and found property at the Fair can be directed to the Champlain Valley Fair staff at [email protected] or 802-878-5545.

The new school year is right around the corner! Essex PD wants to remind everyone to watch for pedestrians.
Remember to wear visible or reflective clothing and always obey traffic laws; such as using cross walks!

Stay alert- keeping headphone volume low and putting your phones down.

When possible, walk with friends or in a group.

If something makes you or your children uncomfortable, please let someone know.
