The Essex Community Justice Center (Essex CJC) provides restorative approaches to crime and conflict in the Essex, Colchester, Milton, Westford, Underhill and Jericho communities. Since 2003, the Essex Community Justice Center has provided restorative justice programming with a focus on crime prevention, conflict resolution and meeting the needs of those affected by crime. s, the Community Justice Center staff and local volunteers support those affected by crime, address local crime in a restorative way, and work with offenders to lower their risk of recidivism and enhance community safety. The Essex Community Justice Center is funded through grants to the Town of Essex by the Department of Corrections, Agency of Human Resources and through donations from community members.

The Essex CJC is so thankful for the support of one of our community partners, Cents Thrift Shop! We were once again a recipient of their generous annual donations from proceeds from shoppers and donators. The community of Essex is fortunate to have such an amazing resource in our midst.
