Great to see that the Trump Accounts app launched today! The Trump Accounts are a great way for parents to help their children save money and set them up for financial success. China is doing everything it can to infiltrate the US auto industry and get around American tariffs. China is trying to use Mexico and Canada as safe havens to build Chinese cars and components and ship them to the United States without having to pay tariffs. This can’t be allowed to happen. As US-Mexico talks start this week, I’m urging United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer to use the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade deal to block China from infiltrating North America’s auto market.

Chinese vehicle exports have exploded from 700,000 to more than 7 million per year since 2019, as the Chinese try to gain dominance in the car market. Chinese carmakers have built at least 12 new manufacturing facilities in Mexico since 2019, and even more auto component facilities. We must prevent China from undermining American auto manufacturing while protecting American automakers.
