To help keep our community safe and maintain public infrastructure, signs may not be attached to utility poles, streetlights, traffic control poles, trees, or other natural features. Signs placed in the public right-of-way without the required permit are also prohibited under the City of Estacada Municipal Code.

Before posting a sign, please make sure it complies with the City's sign regulations. You can view the sign code here: https://estacada.municipalcodeonline.com/book?type=ordinances =Chapter_16.72_SIGNS.

Edit: We promise we didn't break our own rules.

The sign in this photo isn't actually attached to a utility pole, it's a graphic we created to illustrate what we're talking about. We wanted to provide a visual example for anyone who may not be familiar with the issue and the ordinance.

Think of it as how to show a sign on a utility pole without actually putting one there.

We got our dance on!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the second Concert in the Park of the summer on July 9 at Wade Creek Park featuring Glitter and Gasoline and an evening of incredible dance music. The sun was keeping things warm but we had a wonderful turnout and a great time enjoying live music together as a community.

A big thank you to Glitter and Gasoline for an amazing performance, and to the Recreation and Activity Committee of Estacada (RACE) for continuing to bring free summer concerts to our community.

There's still plenty of music left this summer! Mark your calendars for the remaining concerts, all held at Wade Creek Park from 6:30–8:30 PM:

Have you had your first swim of the summer?

Estacada is the perfect place to enjoy the water and all the beauty Oregon has to offer, but before you head to the lake, pool, or river, please make sure you have a plan and the tools to keep kids safe.

Help Protect Oregon's Waters This Summer!

As you head out to enjoy our lakes, rivers, and reservoirs, you can help protect our recreation spaces from invasive zebra and quagga mussels by making one simple habit part of every trip:

✅ CLEAN your gear
✅ DRAIN all water
✅ DRY everything thoroughly

These invasive mussels can hitch a ride on boats, kayaks, paddleboards, trailers, fishing gear, and other water equipment. Once introduced, they can damage waterways, harm native fish and wildlife, and clog water infrastructure. The best way to stop them is to prevent them from spreading.

What a fantastic 4th of July Parade. Despite a cloudy start to the morning, the weather was perfect for celebrating together, and the streets were lined with what many participants said was our biggest crowd yet!

This year's parade featured over 140 entries, showcasing everything from creative floats and big rigs to classic vehicles, animals, and community groups. The excitement from the kids along the parade route made the celebration even more special.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the event run smoothly, we couldn't do it without you. And thank you to everyone who participated and came out to cheer on the parade. Your enthusiasm is what makes Estacada's 4th of July celebration so special.

We can't wait to celebrate with you again next year!
