We are excited to share that our district has been awarded the Oregon Department of Education’s Summer Learning Grant. This is a highly competitive statewide grant opportunity, and it will bring more than $1 million dollars to Estacada schools over the next three years to support summer learning.

Nos complace anunciar que nuestro distrito ha obtenido la Beca de Aprendizaje de Verano del Departamento de Educación de Oregon. Esta es una beca estatal muy competitiva que aportará más de un millón de dólares a las escuelas de Estacada durante los próximos tres años para apoyar el aprendizaje durante el verano.

Big news for Estacada Schools! Estacada School District has been awarded the Oregon Department of Education’s Summer Learning Grant for the next THREE years!

This funding will help us continue providing meaningful K-12 summer learning opportunities that support literacy growth and help students head into the new school year.

This summer, students will have opportunities in Literacy and Math, Robotics, STEM, 3D Printing, Creative Design, Art, and more.

¡Grandes noticias para las Escuelas de Estacada!
El Distrito Escolar de Estacada ha recibido la Beca de Aprendizaje de Verano del Departamento de Educación de Oregon para los próximos TRES años. Estos fondos nos ayudarán a seguir ofreciendo oportunidades de aprendizaje de verano significativas para estudiantes de K-12, que apoyan el desarrollo de la alfabetización y ayudan a los estudiantes a prepararse para el nuevo año escolar.

Hi, I’m Hank Bauer, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little more about what I do as the district’s Data Specialist.
While much of my work happens outside of classrooms, the information systems and data I help manage support nearly every aspect of the student and family experience in our schools.

Hola, soy Hank Bauer, y quería dedicar un momento a presentarme y contarles un poco más sobre lo que hago como especialista en datos del distrito.

Our 9th graders had a valuable opportunity to strengthen their interview skills through mock interviews. Experiences like these help build confidence, prepare students for future opportunities, and give them a strong foundation as they continue through school and eventually enter the workforce.

Los estudiantes de 9.º grado tuvieron la valiosa oportunidad de reforzar sus habilidades de entrevista a través de entrevistas simuladas.
