Last week, our team had the privilege of visiting the Lincoln County Treasurerâs Office, and I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Treasurer Sherrie Huddleston, Chief Deputy Troy Niederstadt, and their entire staff for opening your doors to us.
Thank you for taking the time to walk us through your processes, answer our questions, and share your experience. Seeing how another Treasurerâs Office operates and exchanging ideas is invaluable. We are always looking for ways to grow, improve, and better serve the citizens of Torrance County, and this visit provided us with many great ideas to bring back to our office.
I also want to thank Grant County Treasurer Patrick Cohn and his team for joining us. It was a great opportunity to learn together, collaborate, and strengthen the relationships between our counties.
When county officials work together and share knowledge, we all become stronger, and the biggest beneficiaries are the communities we serve. We truly appreciate your hospitality, professionalism, and willingness to help fellow Treasurers.
Thank you again for an outstanding visit. We look forward to continuing to learn from one another and building strong partnerships across New Mexico.

Collaboration like this makes all of us better, and weâre grateful for the opportunity to learn from one another. Thank you again for your hospitality, guidance, and commitment to serving the people of New Mexico!
