91st Annual Pumpkin Day!!!!!

Today was another successful Pumpkin Day at EPES!! There was so much happiness as students picked out a pumpkin to take home. The laughter and fun continued as they either lugged or rolled their pumpkin back to their classroom!

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Estes Park (Noon Rotary) for donating over 500 pumpkins! Thank you also the Youth in Action high school students who came to help. We love this annual tradition!

Fresh Fruit of the Week: Kiwi!

This week, our Fresh Fruit Cart is featuring kiwi! This sweet and tangy fruit is packed with vitamin C, fiber, and lots of delicious flavor!

Through our USDA-funded Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP), students receive a free fresh fruit or vegetable snack five times a week, giving them the chance to try new foods and discover new favorites!

Fun Fact: Kiwis may be small, but they contain more vitamin C per 100 grams than oranges!

Here's to trying new things and making healthy choices, one bite at a time!
