Our very own will be participating in the 2026-2027 Lead the Ville!

✨ Meet the Class of Lead the Ville 2026-2027✨

Lincoln Larsen is the Director of Music and Performing Arts at Iowa Lakes Community College, where he directs the instrumental ensembles and is leading the revival of the Iowa Lakes Concert Band while launching the Captain's Guard pep ensemble. He earned an Associate of Arts degree from Iowa Lakes Community College, a Bachelor of Music Education from Morningside University, and a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from New Mexico State University. His experience includes teaching with the Reggie Schive Jazz Camp, serving as a graduate assistant for the Pride of New Mexico Marching Band, and performing professionally throughout the Midwest and Southwest, including appearances as a headliner at the Roswell UFO Festival and with a collegiate wind ensemble at the College Band Directors National Association conference. Outside of work, Lincoln enjoys spending time with his wife, Emilee, and their two daughters, Holly and Charlotte, and is passionate about building musical opportunities that strengthen both the college and the surrounding community.

🎭 STUDENT THEATER CLUB IS BACK!

Come join us for our first Theater Club meeting of the fall on Wednesday, August 26, from 4–5 PM in the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center Lobby!

This first meeting is an important opportunity to gauge interest and make plans for the year. Whether you love performing, want to work behind the scenes, or are simply curious about theater, we’d love to have you join us!

Entering its second year, Theater Club provides Iowa Lakes students with a welcoming, creative space to connect, collaborate, and explore the performing arts both on and off stage. Members can gain hands-on experience in performance, directing, stage management, lighting, sound, and stagecraft while building teamwork, creativity, leadership, confidence, and friendships along the way.
