Thank you J & T Tire & Auto Service for supporting first responders and allowing our Assistant Chief to respond to calls whenever possible!

We are proud to have employees as part of our local volunteer fire departments. Here is one of our own, Todd Lunn, responding to a hazard with the Etna Volunteer Fire Company. We recognize and appreciate each and every one of them and all of you out there that selflessly give your all to do the same. Thank you.

This evening, members from the Etna Fire Department and Southern Allegheny Valley Emergency Services gathered to conduct a joint review of each other's rope rescue equipment. Over the next two months, 35 members will participate in a rope awareness and operations course, followed by National Pro-Board Testing at both the awareness and operations levels. This collaborative training initiative represents one of two Pro-Board classes scheduled jointly by the departments for 2026. We appreciate the dedication of our members to ongoing training and professional development, ultimately enhancing our ability to serve the community.
