This is a clear example of “it takes a village.” The Etoile Volunteer Fire Department could not successfully host fundraising events like our Fish Fry and BBQ without the support of our community. This year’s Fish Fry was no exception. Preparing, cooking, and serving more than 250 plates required the help of local businesses, generous dessert donations from our Etoile bakers, and volunteers who gave their time on the day of the event.
A sincere thank you to everyone who baked and contributed desserts. Your effort, creativity, and willingness to support the department added a special touch to the meal and were greatly appreciated.
We also extend our gratitude to those who volunteered their time and energy to make the event a success:
Ricky Alvis, Leslie Thrall, Marvin Henderson, Cindy Henderson, Denise Fisher, Sara Burnett, Kent Burnett, Paul Free, and Sierra Bishop.
Every expense we avoid is another dollar that goes directly toward supporting the fire department. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, we were able to host this event with minimal cost. Special thanks to Betty Stordalen for her exceptional effort in securing those donations—spending countless hours knocking on doors, calling businesses, visiting companies in person, and coordinating pickups. Her dedication played a significant role in making this event successful.
We appreciate the support of:
Daniel Miller, Clay Gilstrap – A1 Recycling, McAlister’s Deli, Buffalo Wild Wings, Catfish King, IHOP, Lone Star Charlie’s, Logan’s Steakhouse, Chili’s, and Outback Steakhouse.
Your continued support makes a meaningful difference and helps ensure that the Etoile Volunteer Fire Department can continue serving our community.
