🏆🎉 HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE! 🎉🏆

🌕 Under a full moon and with the excitement of an unforgettable night, the North Murray Mountaineer Band has done something NO North Murray band has ever done before — GRAND CHAMPIONS! 🏆💛🖤

At the Armuchee Invitational on September 26, 2026, the North Murray Mountaineer Band captured its FIRST GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP IN SCHOOL HISTORY!

After 18 years since the band was established during the 2008–2009 school year, this incredible group of students, staff, and supporters has reached the top and officially made their mark in North Murray history.

CONGRATULATIONS, NORTH MURRAY! 🎉🏆
FIRST GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP. SCHOOL HISTORY. ONE INCREDIBLE NIGHT. 💛🖤

And what better backdrop for history than a full moon over the field? 🌕🎶

We invite you to visit this year's Local Artists Show at Murray Arts Council!
The exhibit features the work of Vic Webb, and includes pieces from twelve more local artists.
We will celebrate the opening of the exhibit on Friday, August 21, from 6-8pm, with a reception that is open to everyone. Admission is free. We hope to see you there!

Have you visited our beautiful city park lately? It’s such a special gathering place for our community — perfect for birthday parties, family reunions, church events, festivals, and so much more.

We’re excited to share that there are now 34 power outlets available around the center of the park, making it even easier to host events, plug in equipment, food warmers, sound systems, and more.
