Each year on September 11, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment shown by first responders who ran toward danger when the world changed forever. Their bravery continues to guide our mission, and we reflect on their legacy with deep respect and gratitude. Unfortunately, moments of remembrance can also be exploited by individuals looking to take advantage of community trust, which is why we want to make residents aware of a current scam circulating online.

The Euclid Police Department is warning residents about a fraudulent event circulating on social media with flyers being posted around the city titled “Wild Child’s High School Summer Jamm” advertised for September 12, 2026 at Euclid High School.

This event does not exist. There is no concert, no school involvement, and no partnership with the Euclid Police Department, the City of Euclid, Euclid City Schools, or any other local organization.

Scammers often create fake events and impersonate schools or city agencies to sell tickets or collect personal information. This is exactly the type of social media fraud we are seeing here.

What residents need to know:
Do NOT purchase tickets — they are fraudulent.
Do NOT attend — there is no event at Euclid High School on that date.
Do NOT share or promote any posts advertising this fake concert.
Do Report the posts to Instagram or Facebook as scams.

Euclid Police Department, the City of Euclid, and Euclid City Schools are not sponsors, partners, or participants in this event. Any advertisement claiming otherwise is false.
