Enroll now for PAL basketball beginning September 16 and running every Wednesday from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m. at the Euclid Recreation & Wellness Center, 600 Babbitt Road. For just $10 youth can play basketball with EPD Officers through spring and even enjoy a pizza dinner! Middle school and high school aged youth can enroll if they live in Euclid or attend school in Euclid. Drivers must stop for a school bus loading or unloading students on any road with one, two, or three lanes—meaning both directions stop. Once a road has four or more lanes, only the vehicles traveling in the same direction as the bus must stop; oncoming traffic does not.

In Euclid, only Lakeshore Boulevard and Euclid Avenue meet that four‑plus‑lane threshold, so on those roads, oncoming drivers do not stop. Easy rule of thumb to remember: 1‑2‑3 lanes = everyone stops; 4+ lanes = same direction stops.

While out on Nicholas Avenue, Officer Crombie caught the perfect moment — Officer Jablonski and Officer Hankins jumping into a quick round of hoops with neighborhood kids. Zero warm‑up, full heart, and plenty of laughs.

Please join us in congratulating Officer Emily Cerovac #77, Officer Samuel Palumbo #83, and Auxiliary Officer Steve Robinson, who were officially sworn in today by Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gail with Chief Scott Meyer proudly by her side.

Many of our EPD officers and auxiliary officers attended the ceremony, standing together to welcome these three into the department. Their dedication, professionalism, and heart for service make them a welcomed addition to our incredible staff and to the City of Euclid.

We’re excited to see the impact they’ll make as they begin their work in our community. Welcome to EPD; we’re proud to have you on the team.
