We just wanted to remind everyone of some dos and don'ts when calling 911 this Independence Day.

Main Street Market is happening on Friday, July 3, and we wanted to let everyone know that Main Street from 7th Street to 10th Street will be closed for this event. The road closure will be from 330 PM to 930 PM, and marked detours will be provided; see the map below.

Also, there will be several parking areas marked in grey on the map below. Side street parking will also be available.

We also ask people NOT to park in the Public Safety Building parking lot during this event unless you are there for official business at the Police Department or Fire Department.

Used fireworks can stay hot long after they burn out. Soak before you toss!

Eudora KS Fire Department has partnered with the Kansas State Fire Marshal Office this year to bring the Bucket Brigade program to Eudora! Thanks to the support of our community partners, we've sourced almost 200 five gallon buckets to distribute free of charge! The buckets are available at both fireworks stands in Eudora while supplies last!

🎆Today is the official start of the discharge of fireworks within the City limits of Eudora. 🎆

July 1- July 2, 10 AM- 10 PM
July 3- July 4, 10 AM- 1130 PM

Also, a friendly reminder to not discharge fireworks on public streets to keep them clear for traffic and emergency vehicles.
