🌟 Student Spotlight 🌟
Meet April! She has been in EWC for 6 months now.
Since April came into our program, she has experienced the peace of God in a new and powerful way. When she first arrived, she carried the weight of a difficult past, including seasons of homelessness, living in a tent or her vehicle, and the heartbreaking loss of her children. Through the program, the Lord has been opening her eyes to the reality of the choices and circumstances that brought her to this place, while also showing her that her past does not have to determine her future.
April has now been sober for six months, and we are so grateful to see the changes taking place in her life. The Lord has begun to gently walk her through the trauma, hurt, and experiences she has carried for years. As she learns to surrender these things to Him, she is discovering what it means to receive healing, forgiveness, and freedom. God is teaching her to look at herself through His eyes rather than through the shame and failures of her past.
One of the most beautiful parts of April's journey has been the restoration of her relationship with her children. She now has regular phone calls and opportunities to visit with them, something that once seemed so far away. These moments have brought hope and encouragement as she continues working toward rebuilding trust and strengthening those relationships.
April's story is one of redemption and restoration. She is learning that she is more than the mistakes she has made and that God still has a purpose for her life. As she continues to seek the Lord and walk through the healing process, He is showing her that there is a brighter future ahead. We are excited to see how God continues to transform April's life and restore the things that have been broken. Please continue to keep April in your prayers and thoughts and she walks in the next season of her walk here with us, and Jesus ❤️
