Community Supported Shelters Helping people experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives through intentional community. Repetitive or libelous comments will be deleted or reported as spam.

CSS supporters and social media followers-

Please take the time to read the following information about how CSS’s Development Team manages our social media pages for general transparency and to set expectations around follower conduct. In line with CSS’s diversity and inclusion statement, Community Supported Shelters does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disabi

lity, sex, religion, language, ethnicity, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or political beliefs. If you feel that CSS has fallen short of this promise in any way, please take the time to fill out the appropriate grievance form. CSS’s Development Team will respond to grievances and concerns expressed in our social media comments as our capacity allows. Responses to such comments will include the information above and allow an opportunity for any specific questions to be answered. Facebook defines spamming as “contacting people with unwanted content or requests. This includes sending bulk messages, excessively posting links or images to people's timelines, and sending friend requests to people you don't know personally.” Multiple instances of such behaviors will result in accounts being blocked by a member of the Development Team. CSS values our social media pages as a place to interact with donors and volunteers, share information about our work as an organization, and coordinate donations for those in need. For these essential functions to take place, CSS’s social media pages must remain a safe and respectful space. Thank you for your time and understanding!

Thanks for making banana bread with us, Sheild Catering!! 🍌🍞💙

Our organization’s workforce development program offers opportunities for learning skills like working in commercial kitchens, pantry management, and procurement of food with Food for Lane County. At our most recent event, Sheild Catering showed our community members how to cook in their commercial kitchen and make some sweet banana bread!! 🍌

Thank you for the sweet treats and good times Sheild Catering!
