We must never forget the generations of brave veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and our freedom. This Memorial Day, we solemnly join together to remember, respect, and honor their sacrifices and remember them with gratitude.

Honoring our veterans also means standing up for them when they return home. At a time when the Trump administration and Republicans continue attacking veterans’ healthcare, threatening critical services, and undermining the support systems that veterans and military families rely on, we must be unwavering in our commitment to those who served.

Backing our veterans means protecting access to healthcare, mental health services, housing assistance, and the benefits they earned through their service and sacrifice. We commit ourselves to doing the hard work it takes to back up our support for our veterans with action.

Today we remember, respect, and honor our veterans. Tomorrow we roll up our sleeves to do our part to protect our country and our freedoms.
