Traffic Alert for Saturday, May 9 🚧🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Please be advised that temporary road closures will be in place beginning at 5:45 PM on Saturday, May 9, for a community 5K race. Closures will remain in effect for the duration of the event.

Affected roads include:
• Covered Bridge Road from the Euharlee Welcome Center & History Museum parking lot to Stonebrook Drive
• Euharlee Five Forks Road from Covered Bridge Road to Woodvine Drive

Traffic access notes:
• Drivers WILL be able to turn right out of Stonebrook Drive
• Drivers WILL be able to turn left out of Woodvine Drive

Please plan alternate routes and use caution in the area as runners and public safety personnel will be present along the course.

We appreciate your patience and support as we host this community event in Euharlee!

The members of the Euharlee Police Department are deeply saddened about the passing of Counciman Joe Turner. Councilman Turner was a huge supporter of our police department and the men and women that serve in it. We are grateful for his dedicated service as a Firefighter and his many years he has devoted to the employees and the Citizens of Euhalree.

We are always grateful for the men and women that serve in the Bartow County Sheriff's Office E 9-1-1 Center. They are the calming voice in a hysterical situation when you have to call 9-1-1. They have patience, and a strong heart for the community we serve. Please share your kind words for those who chose to answer that call, and often receive little recognition for the great job that they do.

We are aware of a recent anonymous social media post regarding a traffic stop involving our police department. We take these concerns seriously and want to provide accurate information.

No one has been taken into custody on an alleged false warrant. In the incident referenced, the vehicle was stopped for a probable cause reason, and the driver was arrested for reasons unrelated to a warrant. The driver was given the opportunity to contact someone to retrieve the vehicle but was unable to do so.

We understand the importance of transparency; however, anonymous or secondhand accounts may not always reflect the full or accurate details. For verified information, we encourage the public to contact our department directly.

The Euharlee Police Department is a State Accredited Law Enforcement Agency. All officers utilize body and vehicle cameras, and we have a formal complaint process in place. Every complaint is taken seriously and fully investigated.

Anyone with concerns is encouraged to contact the department or file a written complaint so it can be reviewed and documented. Please feel free to share this information.

We wanted to thank everyone that came out to the Easter Egg Hunt today, and also sincerely apologize to those who didn't get to participate. We had such a great turnout, and had intentions of spreading out the times for the age groups, but there were so many kids and families waiting for the next group to start in the hot sun, so we started the groups earlier than anticipated. The hunts went a lot faster than expected, so we deeply apologize to the kids that didn't get to participate in a hunt with their age group. We will learn from our mistakes and make the Easter Egg Hunt bigger and better next year.

Please come out and join us tomorrow at Osborne Park. Euharlee Baptist Church will be having festivities from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and we will begin our first of three egg hunts at 12:30 PM. Hope to see y'all there!

Attention Speeders! We take the safety of our residents and our city, very seriously. Please pay attention to your speed and the speed limits when traveling the roads.

One of our officers recently stopped a vehicle for traveling at 70 mph in a 35 mph speed zone on Cliff Nelson Rd. We can not tolerate reckless driving and putting our citizens, and visitors, in danger.

We are looking for youth ages 13 to 18, and they do NOT have to be a Euharlee resident to apply. We will accept the first 25 applications. We are super EGG-CITED 🤪 to announce our annual Easter Egg Hunt date of April 4th, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Osborne Park. We are partnering with the Euharlee Baptist Church to bring you a great day of family fun!

We will have three separate age groups that will get to hunt at three different times. Our first group, ages 0-3, will begin at 12:30 PM. Our next group, ages 4-7, will hunt at around 1:00 PM. And our last group, ages 8-10, will hunt at around 1:30 PM. We will have activities for the kids to keep them busy, so bring the whole family. We will have a registration table that will open at 12:00 PM, just so that we can get a number for each age group.
