💡 Eupora Entrepreneurs: We Want to Hear From You!

If the City of Eupora or one of our community partners offered entrepreneurship classes, small business workshops, or support for people interested in starting or growing a business, would that be something you would find worthwhile?

Topics could include things like:

• How to turn an idea into a business
• Writing a basic business plan
• Marketing and social media
• Bookkeeping and business finances
• Understanding licenses, taxes, and permits
• Finding grants, loans, and other funding opportunities
• Connecting with mentors and other local business owners

We know there are talented people throughout our community with great ideas, and we’re interested in learning what kind of support might help turn some of those ideas into successful local businesses.

Help us keep the conversation going about the future of Eupora!

Join us Thursday, August 27, from 6:00–7:30 PM at the Eupora Civic Center for the next step in the Eupora 2040 Comprehensive Plan process.

Our Action Circles will take the ideas and priorities shared at our first public meeting and begin turning them into more focused conversations about what we want Eupora to look like in the years ahead.

You do not have to be an expert, serve on a board, or have attended the first meeting. If you live here, work here, own a business here, raise a family here, or simply care about Eupora’s future your voice belongs in the room.

☀️ Summer is definitely bringing the heat, but there’s no better way to cool off than a day at White Creek Lake! 💦🌲

We love seeing families and friends out enjoying the water, spending time together, and making memories right here at home.

Seeing our parks and public spaces full of life and being enjoyed by the people they were created for is exactly what makes the work of improving them worthwhile.

Local folks, doing great things!

This is GREAT news for the citizens of Eupora!

We have had SO many people asking us what we are clearing land for. We guess it’s time to spill the beans!! We will be opening Hometown Fit, a 24/7 gym with LOTS to offer for ALL ages and fitness levels!! More info coming soon!

Update: 8/21 8:37 am - the owner of an adjacent property has let us know they are doing some cleaning out and will be hauling all of this away in a timely manner.

⚠️ ILLEGAL DUMPING — INFORMATION NEEDED

The City of Eupora is asking for the public’s help regarding illegal dumping along Campbell Street, immediately south of the railroad tracks behind Mitchell’s.

If you witnessed this dumping, recognize any of the materials, or have any information about who may be responsible, please contact us as soon as possible.

Illegal dumping creates an unnecessary expense for the City and ultimately for our taxpayers. We appreciate anyone who can help us identify those responsible and keep our community clean.
