Tiny Art Show Update: See You in February 2027!

We’ve been receiving lots of questions about the Annual Tiny Art Show. Around this time of year, we typically begin handing out Tiny Art kits and preparing for our late summer/early fall showcase. This year, however, the Tiny Art Show will not be taking place during its usual season. Instead, we’re excited to announce that the event has been moved to February 2027.

We appreciate the enthusiasm, creativity, and support our community continues to show for this beloved event. We know many of you look forward to creating and sharing your tiny masterpieces, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you in the new year.

Stay tuned for more details about kit availability, participation, and important dates for the February 2027 Tiny Art Show!

Bookmobile Update!
Due to excessive heat, the Bookmobile won't be making its scheduled stop in Orleans today, Tuesday, Aug. 4. We'll miss seeing you, but the safety of our staff and community comes first. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you on our next visit!
All other Bookmobile routes this week will operate as scheduled.

Zip Books Program Update!

Our current Zip Books grant funding has been fully utilized. We are not accepting new Zip Books requests at this time.

The library has applied to continue participating in the California State Library's Zip Books program for Fiscal Year 2026–2027 and is awaiting notification of funding. We will provide updates as they become available.
