Thank you Mayor Lind and Eureka City Council for your continued support and recognition of National Police Week and Police Officer Memorial Week as we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their communities.

During this National Police Week and Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to say thank you to the men and women in law enforcement who put on the badge, answer tough calls, and protect and serve our communities each and every day.

We also remember those who have given their lives in the line of duty, and we stand with their families who carry that loss every day. To all who serve and to the loved ones who support them at home, we thank you – your work matters, and it does not go unnoticed. God bless the officers who protect our communities!
