The Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission and Eureka Community Services team have narrowed it down to nine choices and the rest is up to YOU! 🌲 Sequoia Park Ivy League is back for another pull! 🌲
📚 We have our own Ivy League in town and it’s not what you think. Instead of hitting the books, we are hitting the park to eradicate invasive ivy from our beloved Redwood forest.
⛲ Drop into the park anytime between 9am and 1pm on Saturday, June 13. Meet at the Glatt St. Fountain at Glatt & T St. We will have all supplies for you, and we will train you on everything you need to know.

⭐ Coordinators lead a team of professionals to plan and facilitate games, crafts, and activities for participants ages 5-12. Coordinators spearhead communication with participant families and ensure a safe, positive, and memorable experience for all. $20.54-$22.64 DOE⭐

⭐ Leaders bring the fun! Leaders take charge of participants ages 5-12 during games, crafts, and activities. Leaders provide supervision and help participants make magical memories. Leaders assist with planning activities and help communicate with Coordinator as well as participant families. $16.91-$18.64 DOE⭐

🌞Summer is nearly here! But that new school year is a lot closer than you think...👀

Join the Outside the Box After School Program for a unique program hosted at the Sequoia Park Zoo! Registration opens Monday, June 8th at 9AM, so mark your calendars! Participants in this program take part in unique Zoo opportunities and learn about the local environment through outdoor exploration of the Zoo and nearby Sequoia Park.

🌲Who: Kids Ages 5-12
🌲Where: Sequoia Park Zoo Learning Lab
🌲When: School Dismissal to 5:30PM (this program follows both the Eureka City Schools and Cutten School District academic calendars and opens early for early dismissal days)
🌲Cost: $15 per day, billed monthly (additional $10 monthly fee applies for non-Eureka residents)

🎉 Thanks to everyone who attended Quarters for Carson Park, we raised an incredible 💲8,800 for playground improvements at Carson Park! We had a fantastic night filled with prizes, laughter, and community support. Thank you to Kiwanis of Henderson Center for your partnership and to all the generous local businesses who donated prizes.
