The Ice House has been listed for sale and is a featured property in the Missouri Preservationist Allaince's e-News Historic Real Estate issue!
Please share this post so we can find an interested party that wants to own a piece of history and will make this important building the anchor to Old Town that it once was!

Next step: This past Monday the City of Eureka set a lengthy list of requirements that had to be provided to them in order for them to consider allowing a second inspection. These have been completed and now we await their determination whether the qualified specialists that have offered their services will be allowed access to the Ice House to verify it's condition.

Success! Yes, small steps but the demolition has been halted (for now) and we are scheduling an inspection as soon as possible!

While we had less than 48 hours to arrange a demonsrration, mid week at 4pm (before dark!) to beat the demolition crew scheduled to start Sat am, we had a good turnout and support from people driving by (and Joe joined us!!)

Thanks to KMOV and KSDK for their reporting, the Missouri Preservationist Alliance (Bill Hart and Riley) for.coming out, and thanks to everyone signing the petition. We are on the way to 1000 signatures! Please keep sharing your comments and the petition - this isn't over yet!
