A Measure O-funded project began today on Redway Drive and Redwood Drive. Contractors are scheduled to work in the Redway and Garberville areas through Wednesday, June 3, on weekdays only from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tomorrow, Friday, May 29, Bear Canyon Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Work is also scheduled on Melville Road and Redway Drive.

Monday, June 1: Melville Road, Church Street and Redwood Drive (westbound lane)
Tuesday, June 2: Redway Drive, Redwood Drive (eastbound lane), Bear Canyon Road, and Melville Road
Wednesday, June 3: Church Street, Redwood Drive (westbound lane), and Redway Drive

Please plan accordingly, follow all traffic control signals, and drive safely through and near work areas.

Road crews have been busy preparing for upcoming Measure O projects by grinding road surfaces, paving, cleaning ditches, and replacing culverts.

A Double Fiberized Micro Slurry Seal is scheduled on the following roads in the Garberville and Redway areas from Thursday, May 28, through Wednesday, June 3, weekdays only, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.:

Redway Drive
Redwood Drive
Bear Canyon Road
Melville Road
Church Street

Expect delays of more than 15 minutes. Please plan ahead, slow down in work areas, and follow all traffic control signs and directions.

🚧Measure O Construction Notices for Redway and Garberville area. 🚧
At this time, contractors are scheduled to begin a double fiberized micro seal on Redway Drive, Church Street, Bear Canyon Road, Melville Road, and Redwood Drive.
Work is scheduled for Thursday, May 28 through Wednesday, June 3 between the hours of 7 A.M. and 5 P.M. Weekdays only.
Please drive with caution and follow all traffic control signs.
Expect delays up to 15 minutes or more.
Updates or changes to the schedule will be made here.

Storm damage repair on Alderpoint Road. South of Burr Creek, near the Bridgeville area at mile marker 42.00 - 42.30
Construction will begin on Thursday, May 21 through October.
Expect delays greater than 15 minutes during weekdays and please follow traffic control signs.
Work will take place between 7 A.M. - 5 P.M.

Funded by Measure O, the A.A. Hadley Suspension Bridge, on Lindley Road, underwent major deck repairs. After the repairs were completed by William J. Etter Construction, the Ferndale crew paved the bridge approaches with assistance from the Rohnerville, Freshwater and Bridge crews.

On Wednesday, May 6, contractors will implement one-way control traffic with delays of up to 15 minutes on Briceland Road between the intersections of Oakridge Drive and Eel River Lane.

Near the town of Orick, multiple culverts will be replaced on Bald Hills Road, between mile marker .60 to 2.50.
Work is scheduled for Monday, May 4, and will conclude on Thursday, May 7.
Repairs will take place between the of hours
