Leaders at Work!

Mrs. Rogers and six leadership learners traveled to Santa Barbara over the summer to attend Camp CADA Leadership Camp. Over the course of four days our leaders were immersed in development and activity design to bring back to Zane, all while staying in the dorms of UC Santa Barbara and interacting with 200+ other middle and high school leaders!

We would like to give an immense thanks to Humboldt Sponsors for supporting our leaders and providing them a grant towards the registration cost to attend!

Be on the look out this year for our leadership class and the fun events they will be facilitating this year!

Reminder: Every student is required to have a physical and sports packet turned in to the office before they can participate in tryouts.

Attention Zane Families‼️
There are only 2 days left to complete both your Mailer Packet and Online Back to School Packet on PowerSchool to be able to pick up schedules on Friday. Reminder that they are two different packets. Our mailer packet is site specific, and the online packet is from the district.

THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 14Th:
🔴Schedule Pick Up 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
(The computer lab will be open for support)
🔴New Student Orientation 1:30 pm-3:30 pm (Parent Meeting 3:00-3:30)
🔴P.E Shirts Available for purchase ($12 cash or check)

Solo quedan 2 días para completar tanto el paquete de documentos enviados por correo como el paquete digital de inicio de clases en PowerSchool, a fin de poder recoger los horarios este viernes. Les recordamos que son dos paquetes distintos: el paquete enviado por correo es específico de la escuela, mientras que el paquete digital proviene del distrito.

ESTE VIERNES 14 DE AGOSTO:
🔴 Recogida de horarios: 8:00 a. m. – 3:00 p. m.
(El laboratorio de computación estará abierto para brindar asistencia)
🔴 Orientación para nuevos estudiantes: 1:30 p. m. – 3:30 p. m. (Reunión para padres: 3:00 – 3:30 p. m.)

Attention Zane Families

Please complete your online 2026-2027 Back To School Packets on PowerSchool as soon as possible!

You have to have this completed before your student can receive their schedule on Friday, August 14th along with the physical packet you received in the mail.

Don't forget, all 7th graders need to turn in their TDap vaccinations as well.

Por favor, completen lo antes posible los formularios en línea de regreso a clases para el ciclo 2026-2027 a través de PowerSchool.

Debe completar este trámite antes de que su estudiante pueda recibir su horario el viernes 14 de agosto, junto con el paquete físico que recibió por correo.

Recuerden también que todos los alumnos de séptimo grado deben presentar el comprobante de vacunación Tdap.

Join us in our computer lab on Friday, August 14th 2026 from 8:00 am-3:00 pm during our "Schedule Pick Up Day" for assistance with PowerSchool registration and completing your online packet. We will have staff around to help answer any questions you may have and assist you with the process if needed.
